Overcoming the harsh realities of his early years, including living in homeless shelters and group homes, Antwan transformed unimaginable adversity into a narrative of triumph. His unwavering faith and determination have made him a respected leader, advocate, and role model in his community and industry.

Antwan’s story has not gone unnoticed. Professionally, Antwan has dedicated his career to creating meaningful change. He earned his Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, specializing in leadership and development in social services, and has held significant roles in government and private agencies.

Currently, he serves as a Policy Fellow at the Chapin Hall Center for Children, where he contributes to transformative research, data analysis, and implementation support for initiatives benefiting children, youth, and families. His work has been pivotal in addressing systemic issues and advancing solutions that improve lives.

In addition to his role at Chapin Hall, Antwan operates as an independent consultant, supporting small nonprofits with program development, organizational alignment, strategic planning, and grant writing. His expertise empowers organizations to serve marginalized populations effectively and sustainably.

While Antwan’s professional achievements are remarkable, he remains deeply grounded in his roles as a husband, father, mentor, and coach. He takes great pride in attending his children’s sporting events, coaching little league baseball, and exploring innovative ways to support nonprofits.
